One Speech Will Not Save The Dear Leader

I know, in but a couple of hours, the Dear Leader, President Obama, will strut his stuff in the well of the House of Representatives and proclaim the State of the Union.
But, if Michael Barone's analysis is correct, this speech will not be a panacea to help fellow Democrats in congress.
And if the Dear Leader thinks that pandering to Democrat special interest groups will get his mojo back, I am afraid the Dear Leader has rediscovered herbolic refreshment. That's marijuana for the masses!
The reality is, no matter how one spins it, the American people are rejecting the left-wing governance of the Dear Leader, President Obama.
Sure, the Dear Leader, President Obama, is trying to spin the Massachusetts senate special election results. But the people of Massachusetts, one of the most liberal and bluest states in the Union, just said no. They elected Scott Brown not because he was going to help the Dear Leader, President Obama, enact his agenda. But because even in Massachusetts, the people realize that the Hopey Changy thing was all schtick. Once the substance came to being, people realized that this was not a centrist running the show in the White House.
So much is being touted about what the Dear Leader, President Obama, has to do and say tonight. Unless he does a complete 360, it really will not matter.
It is all about the policy that the Dear Leader, President Obama, is trying to implement. That is where he is failing to gain support of the American people. And he can not blame it all on Fox News or conservative talk radio. It is because people do not have confidence in the man and what he is trying to implement. And there is a bit of the fact that "leadership" seems to be failing this administration.
Take the case of the so-called Christmas Bomber, Umar F. Abdulmuttallab.
After 50 minutes- 5 0!, Mr. Abdulmuttallab gets lawyered up and given his Miranda rights. Clearly this is a case in which a terrorist should be tried in a military tribunal. Not in a civilian court. But, no. The Dear Leader, President Obama, and his Attorney General, Eric Holder, think that somehow, we will be safer if we try these people in civilian court. With the rights of American citizens.
I will not be able to watch the speech as I will be at a previous engagement. But, I suggest you watch and see for yourself where the Dear Leader, President Obama, goes in this State of the Union speech.
Because this one speech is not going to turn things around. But it can be a beginning for real change.
