A Pro-Life Victory

In the present, me-me-me culture, there are not many positive stories. Especially when it comes to the issue of life.
But, this courageous young woman, showed that after really seeing what an abortion is like, she realized that it was the taking of an unborn life and is now solidly in the pro-life camp.
Abby Johnson, 28 and with a three-year-old daughter herself, had been the director of the Planned Parenthood clinic in Bryan, Texas. But recently she actually watched an abortion procedure. Not completely, but on an ultrasound. While watching the ultrasound, Mrs. Johnson saw the baby "crumple" as it was being vacuumed out of the mother's uterus. It was a first and last for Mrs. Johnson as she resigned her position with the local Planned Parenthood office.
Mrs. Johnson was a true believer. She said that she was pro-choice. So much so that she escorted patients to and from the clinic, past the pro-life contingents that protest these clinics.
But, seeing the procedure for the first time, and revealing that she felt pressured to get more women to have abortions was too much for the young mother.
In the linked story, it points out that the average abortion costs $350 a procedure. And, the doctor performing the abortions was in the clinic only two days a month. Here is the kicker. The abortionist can perform 30 to 40 abortions per day!
Astounding!
But, look at how much this clinic can net from all those abortions. About $10,000 bucks a month.
Hmm. It appears that a human life at this clinic is worth $350 bucks.
Now, Mrs. Johnson was one that believed she was doing the right thing because she was promoting family planning and education. That is a good thing to do. Here are Mrs. Johnson's own words:

"Ideally my goal as the facility's director is that your abortion numbers don't increase."
"You're providing so much family planning and so much education that there is not a demand for abortion services."
"But that was not their goal."

Reality is one big bitch-slap for people like Mrs. Johnson. Yet she still believed she was doing the right thing. She kept promoting family planning and education. She did not want to see the abortion numbers increase. Yet, this was not enough for her boss, not identified in the story. The
Houston regional manager was putting the screws on for her to promote abortions, the cash cow of this industry.
This is no where near the first time that accusations have been made against Planned Parenthood.
In Indiana, a clinic was ready to perform an abortion for an under aged girl. But, it was a sting and the procedure was not performed.
There are other stories of this nature at numerous Planned Parenthood facilities throughout the United States.
But, how many of the volunteers actually see what Mrs. Johnson saw? How many of the volunteers actually know how abortions are performed? Would more be like Mrs. Johnson and wonder if they were doing the right thing by being volunteers or employees of such an organization? And, do they believe in Margaret Sanger, one of the founders of Planned Parenthood, and her racist eugenics beliefs?
It is unfortunate that Mrs. Johnson had to see a procedure for herself. But, and this is what is important, it changed her mind and her heart.
While it is important to wage the legal, moral and political battles on behalf on the unborn, sometimes it is something like what Mrs. Johnson came to realize. That the procedure is brutal and inhuman. That it is indeed taking a human life. And because of a chance watching of the procedure, Mrs. Johnson realizes that she was doing the right thing in the wrong place. Now, one hopes that Mrs. Johnson will promote what she believes in a setting that promotes life, not death. And, not for the almighty dollar either.

When you get a uterus and are physically capable of becoming pregnant and experiencing the consequences of whatever decision you make, then I'll give a listen to whatever you might have to say on this subject.

Until then, you simply don't have a clue. Or a right.

Good for Abby- she needed to leave that racist founded organization. A POWERFUL and RIVETING documentary about Planned Parenthood has recently been produced which shows clear links from slavery to eugenics to abortion and BLACK GENOCIDE! This film, Maafa21, has stirred the hearts of many in the African American Community who have never been outspoken against abortion. But after viewing Maafa21 and the painstaking documentation in that DVD they are coming on board the pro-life fight in droves. I strongly recommend this movie to EVERYONE. It is over 2 hours of undeniable proof to the racist agenda behind the abortion profiteers. Get a short peak here: www.maafa21.com
