Dede Scozzafava CAN NOT Exit Gracefully And Is An Embaressment To New York State GOP

Well, I figured that maybe Dede Scozzafava read my post on exiting the race for the New York state 23rd congressional election Tuesday. Ahh, but I knew that this "moderate" would not disapoint. And she has not as she is endorsing the Democrat, Bill Owens, over Conservative Doug Hoffman.
What a shock!
I mean, Mrs. Scozzafava tries to do the ol' this is not about me. This is not about party. This is what is right about the people of the New York state 23rd congressional district.
A load of crap, folks!
It only solidifies what those who support Mr. Hoffman have thought all along. That it is one thing to be a little left-of-center on some issues. But when the alleged Republican candidate supports such items as the Dear Leader, President Obama's so-called economic "stimulus" and card-check legislation, it is clear that this is not a middle-of-the-roader but one way to the left of the Republican party and the voters of the said 23rd congressional district.
Again, I can support a real moderate and have. I voted for and supported former California governor Pete Wilson twice. And yes, I voted for Gov. Benedict Arnold twice. And, while I do regret it the second time around, I probably would have voted for him again. And as an aside, I did not think that there was a Republican more left-of-center than Gov. Benedict Arnold. But, Dede Scozzafava has proven that to be so wrong.
If anything, what Mrs. Scozzafava has done is make the Hoffman supporters more energized to get out the vote and get this victory over with.
And, it puts mud in the face of Mrs. Scozzafava's biggest Republican supporter, Newt Gingrich. It was wrong for him to justify a bad way of getting a bad candidate on the special election ballot in this race. Mr. Hoffman clearly presented the voters of this district a real contrast with the Democrat candidate, Mr. Owens. But, the good ol' boy network that is the New York state Republican party decided that this "moderate", Mrs. Scozzafava, would be better than a real representative of the New York state 23rd district. They really think that a supporter of much of the Dear Leader, President Obama's agenda is better than a representative that would adhere to basic Republican and conservative principles. There is real smart power. And, Newt fell into it for some inexplicable reason.
Dede, you could not leave the race gracefully and you showed true colors in endorsing a Democrat rather than the Conservative candidate. What a piece of work!
