A Correction Post

I had linked many a reader to a post from National Review's Jim Geraghty that had some figures about the early voting in Ohio and how it was underwhelming.
Well, since Mr. Geraghty had to make a correction about it, I will link you to that.
Although the figures make it seem more favorable to the potential that more voters had voted than the original post indicated, I agree with Mr. Geraghty's analysis that it is still underwhelming.
I think Team Obama has to be careful to just assume that because things look bad for Team McCain due to the mess in the financial services sector, voters will flock to him and the Democrats.
The real worry, and it is for both the Democrat and Republican parties, is that this could be a ripe time for a strong push for an alternative political party.
That assessment is not to ferment more panic, just a potential.

The deadline for registration in Ohia was 10/6, and the efforts of Obama's campaign was on registering as many people as possible by that time.

That done, they can now focus on early and absentee balloting.

McP.O.W.'s going down like a $10 hooker. He'll be beat like a rented mule.
