More From The Political Correctness Front-British Edition

It appears that another town council in Britain was about to cave into perceived political correctness before coming back to their senses http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-1037384/Council-refuses-charity-event-wounded-British-soldiers--case-offends-ethnic-minorities.html.
The rationale for denying Richard Chamberlain, not the actor but a resident of Portsmouth, England, a 500 pound sterling grant so he can raise cash for a charity is that it would possibly offend minorities who had been injured or affected by violence in war.
So, let me get this straight. A grant to help a British citizen raise money for a charity, Help For Heroes, that aids wounded British soldiers is turned down because of a possibility that it may "offend" minorities who may have been wounded or affected by violence in war?
Once again, I scream, UNF---INGBELIEVABLE!
Eventually, the town council caved and gave Mr. Chamberlain the grant.
Here is what is pathetic about where once Great Britain has descended to the hell of political correctness.
The fact that a British citizen has to beg the government for money to raise money for a group that helps wounded British soldiers who are fighting against Islamofacism is what is wrong. The British people should be handing as much cash as possible to make sure that their brave soldiers are cared for properly. No one should have to go hat in hand to the government to get a grant to raise money for these groups.
Yet, the Portsmouth town council in a fit of clear hatred for the armed forces that allows these buffoons to make such mindnumbing decisions, the first reaction is to worry about those who may have been victims of war.
Here is a clue. Maybe they should have sought out these "victims" if in fact it is better to fight a war in the Islamofacist heartland rather than the streets of Britain.
Thank Almighty God that the town council caved to real correctness and gave the grant. And hopefully, Mr. Chamberlain and Help For Heroes will raise tons of cash to help the brave British soldiers.
And, if you are so inclined to offer some assistance log on to http://www.helpforheroes.org.uk/.
I am certain that they would appreciate any help that we on the other side of the Pond can offer.
And one last thought.
Do not think that this can not happen here. We are seeing it in many small, subtle ways.
