More Arrogance From The Christian Modernists

I write this post because it highlights the total arrogance of those who are the Christian modernists or liberals http://www.pasadenastarnews.com/rds_search/ci_9450154?IADID=Search-www.pasadenastarnews.com-www.pasadenastarnews.com?source=sb-google.
Once you read the link, I want to highlight the following comment:

He called the plan's rejection a "slap in the face" to a church that's been deeply involved in city social programs, incubating such agencies as the AIDS Service Center, Union Station and Young & Healthy.

The "he" is the rector of Pasadena, California's All Saints Episcopal Church, the Rev. Ed Bacon. All Saints, also known as All Socialists, is one of the most Modernist churches in the Episcopal church. The Rev. Bacon is right down the line a Christian Modernist. You know, basically adopting the Democrat platform. It is here that, unless the California supreme court stays it's decision, the first Christian "same-sex wedding" will take place.
Why am I bothered?
Because, the Rev. Bacon did not get what he wanted. An expansion of the church has not passed two planning commissions. So, his reaction sounds a lot like he and All Saints (Socialists) should just be rewarded because they are All Saints (Socialists). The implication is that All Saints (Socialists) does what it does as a quid pro quo. The Rev. Bacon reaction is that because it is All Saints (Socialists), the city of Pasadena should just bend over and let them do what they want.
To me, the Rev. Bacon has not reacted in the Christian way. So, maybe a scale back or a compromise that would please the planning commissions would be the way to go.
Trust me, folks. Pasadena is a very crowded city and land is at a premium. When a house on a large lot is sold, it often becomes a set of condominiums or town homes.
Maybe the project is too grandiose for the area where All Saints (Socialists) is. Knowing the area, that seems to be right.
A little humility would go a long way to a compromise and a way to work with its neighbors. That is the real message of Christianity. Not whining like a child when not getting one's own way.
